Join historian and author Brad Kolodny for a talk and signing on his book The Synagogue's of Long Island.

Historian, author and Jewish Historical Society of Long Island President, Brad Kolodny, has visited and documented every current and former synagogue building on the island. He will discuss his book Seeking Sanctuary: 125 Years of Synagogues on Long Island and share photos, records, and anecdotes ranging from the very first synagogue built on Long Island in Setauket to present day congregations. Books will be made available for purchase and signing at the event (cash or check payment accepted).

About the branch

The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
