A free self-guided tour filled with art, food, & drinks!
The Huntington Public Library is excited to once again be a part of the Huntington Village Art Walk! Get together with your friends and be a part of this free, outdoor event. The self-guided tour will take you through the new exhibits of Huntington Village Art Galleries and Museums where you can enjoy beautiful artwork, chat with the artists, and enjoy tasty treats. A free map will be available on the Huntington Village Art Walk Facebook Event page, at the library, and at participating galleries which will also include: Huntington Art Center, Huntington Arts Council, Heckscher Museum of Art, Spotlight, digho, fotofoto gallery, bj spoke gallery, and more! At the Huntington Public Library meet artist, Harper Bella and view her exhibit, Flower of Honor, commemorating the essential workers who kept their communities thriving amid the COVID-19 crisis. We will also have on display a series of artwork by Graphic Designer Patrick Aievoli based on his book, minutes & seconds: the Scientists that “treats us to both a history lesson and visual storytelling that challenges us to consider our past innovations, the works of genius, that have brought us to where we are today, technologically speaking.” There will be a related kid’s craft up in Youth & Parent Services so bring the whole family! The Main is located in the heart of Huntington Village, on the corner of Prospect Street and Main Street. The Main has a large auditorium and two smaller meeting rooms, one room for Children's programs and a conference room. There is also a Local History room located on the second floor and an Art Gallery located on the lower level.
